These terms apply when you use astralbooking.com (“Astral Booking”), as a client booking an appointment or as a studio taking bookings. By using the site you agree to them.
What Astral Booking is
Astral Booking is booking software. Studios list their services, prices, hours and rules; clients book and pay deposits online. The appointment is between you and the studio. The studio, not Astral Booking, provides the tattoo or other service and is responsible for it.
Bookings, deposits and cancellations
- Each studio sets its own prices, deposit amount and cancellation rules. They are shown before you pay.
- Deposits are paid straight to the studio's own Stripe account and count toward your final price.
- If you cancel inside the studio's cancellation window, or don't show up, the studio may keep your deposit. Refunds are made by the studio.
- You must be 18 or older and bring photo ID to your appointment.
For studios
- You are responsible for your listing, prices, rules, services and for following the laws that apply to your business (including health and safety, consent and age rules).
- Payments go to your own Stripe account under Stripe's terms. Astral Booking does not hold your money and currently charges no commission.
- Keep your login safe. You're responsible for activity in your account.
Fair use
Don't make fake bookings, misuse other people's information, try to break or overload the site, or use it for anything illegal. We may suspend accounts that do.
Availability and liability
We work hard to keep Astral Booking running, but it is provided “as is” and may sometimes be unavailable or have mistakes. To the extent the law allows, Astral Booking is not liable for the services studios provide, for disputes between clients and studios, or for indirect losses.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and important changes will be shown on the site.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province where Astral Booking is operated.
